Spiny

Moment of truth?
I LOVE blogging, BUT I build it into quite a huge ordeal- so much so that it gets a little daunting. And I don't mean my writing, oh no... that is always an afterthought. I'm not a great writer. I know how to say what I'm thinking, but if you get down to the nuts and bolts of it when it comes to the technical mumbo jumbo, I'm all thumbs. Diagram a sentence? No thanks.

But I LOVE photography, I LOVE capturing a moment, so when I present pictures on here I want people to be able to feel what I felt. So I am very choosy about my editing and do stuff no one will even notice, but it's like I HAVE to do it. I don't know why it's almost a compulsion. I don't judge other peoples pictures, just my own and I'm hard on myself. Then when I'm finally done editing, I slap those pictures on and write as fast as I can, just to get the gist of it down.

Anyway, I've decided that sometimes it's okay to do a quickie, which is what this is. Just phone pix and getting it down, so someday my kids can read this and remember those fun times. So bare with me as I sometimes throw up a little ditty now and again, hey it might even make me a frequent blogger again! :-0

So the weather here has been AMAZEballs. I am in LOVE with it. It is freaking wonderful and I can't get enough. It was so nice tonight that I went for a walk and even RAN.... me.... RAN.....wth?! Seriously, it was grand. Anyway, we had a few chilly days and it slowed those lizards down just enough that Jameson finally caught one that was a pretty good size. After much googling we think we decided he is a Desert Spiny Lizard. I let him come in the house and warm up and stay a while, but then had J-man release him. I felt bad about it because Jameson was in love and wanted to keep him so bad. I just feel bad about keeping wild animals as pets. So we went to the pet store to find out more about lizards and which ones make good pets and stuff. Then he decided he wanted a snake and then the game was over. I'm sorry, but I can not feed mice to a snake. I just don't have it in me. So I'll keep ya'll updated on our pet situation. For now Spiny lives out back and visits quite often.

Kellie- I do remember being in that class with you! But I mostly remember me parking my rear on the bleachers. ;)
